# Tornado charts

Tornado charts can be used best for comparing two values such as the salaries of men and women. To create a tornado chart, insert bar charts for the two columns and reverse the axis direction for one of the columns. These charts can be further customised using the options -

(a) axis direction

(b) reference line and band

(c) comparison band

(d) data label

(e) fill pattern and more.
